I am so pleased that many of you still visit me despite of my low posting. Every day I tell myself I will go for posting marathon, but then when the night comes all I can think of is sleep. I did not give up on photography. I carry my camera with me most of the time, sometimes two and sometimes all three of them (one is just point and shoot).
Also, for a low price of just under 200 dollars Canadian, I was able to fix my Canon 20D. They never claimed that it was the number of shutters, all it was it needed major overhaul and probably was shorting somewhere. I am missing probably one more and important lens, macro lens and I will be set for many years. Suggestions are welcome.
No I wasn't that lucky to photograph the falling leaf. It is very easy to spot hanging leaves on the spider webs during the fall season. Since the web is nearly invisible, one can be fooled, and not I am not suspending my blog. I may take a break such last, but I will be always back.
My Matthew continues to grow. We wander around the town streets, parks and we are regular visitors to our local library. My parents borrowed my small point and shoot camera for their trip to Poland, which was also used at home by Matthew. So now he is getting hands on my DSLR. He likes the zooming effect when looking through the view finder. He is almost 3 1/2 years old.

About my post, those blue shapes are the Alps. There isn't any photo effect, in the evening often there is a sort of blue atmosphere in Turin, especially in autumn.

This is a special time of year. It has been cold and the leaves are falling. We are supposed to have to frost for sure, tonight.

About the lens. If you can afford it, you should read about the lens I got. It does most everything I need done 18-270mm Tamron. You can get very close without using the zoom. I like that.

ReplyDeleteCongrats on getting the camera sorted, they can be expensive to fix but we have so much fun with them. Nice capture of the leaf suspended. Life does have its seasons when it feels we are overly busy wouldn't it be nice to hit the pause button and just float for a minute.

I really love what you did to the background, Anna. It is a beautiful shot. These new digital cameras are problematic sometimes. I still have two 35 year old Nikon SLRs that work perfectly. Just can't get the Kodachrome film for them anymore.
ReplyDeleteOh, to be a young again and as free as a bird or spider. Far too short lived for me but I like the idea of hanging around without a care in the world. Any chance of that happening? No, comes to mind. Great pic and great to see that Mr and Mrs MacArenas are going to be grandparents for the second time.

Lovely photo Anna, like the effect with this shot! Glad to hear you got your 20D fixed. Good to see you posting again. Look forward to viewing your images and reading your narratives. Don't worry about how not posting frequently. All that matters is that you do post the quality images that you do. Matthew is getting so big, you will soon be posting his photos. That’s amazing and hard to believe that leaf hangs from spider web, and if not u reveal I wouldn’t stopped wondering how u captured it without blur or motion in picture. But still I admire it a lot! Your photographs never fail to wonder me dear… they are quite adorable. Glad u get mood to blog now and sure it must so nice going out with Matthew esp. visiting library is going to teach him a lot. Keep it up Anna :)
